Renee Simons, PsyD | Clinical Psychologist, Registered in Bermuda
Dr. Renee Simons is a Clinical Psychologist working at Edgewood Pediatric Services. She received both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Simons obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Child and Family relations from the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada.
Dr. Simons works with children, adolescents, and families who may be struggling with behavioral and emotional problems, such as depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, behavioral acting-out, trauma, and anxiety. Dr. Simons also works with individuals who are learning to adjust to life with a chronic illness, providing motivational and behavioral support. In addition, she has experience conducting group therapy and has facilitated groups for adolescent females, individuals with learning disabilities, children with dyslexia, children with anxiety, and various classroom groups at the middle and high school levels. Dr. Simons has conducted many psychoeducational assessments through The Reading Clinic and while working at Edgewood Pediatrics.
